Gretchen, Co-Founder of Vantage, has nearly twenty years of experience in intelligence and asset recovery. She also has extensive experience in human source development and witness recruitment.

Gretchen began her career in Washington DC with a leading international intelligence firm; during her seven-year tenure with this firm, Gretchen became a Director in the New York office of the firm and helped establish one of the firm’s European offices.

Gretchen then joined an oil company to establish and lead an in-house intelligence unit; the primary focus of the unit was to provide intelligence and evidence in support of multiple high-value legal disputes. The unit helped preserve more than USD 1 billion in assets, as evidence gathered by the unit contributed to multiple legal victories.
In 2012, Gretchen co-founded Vantage with the stated aim to focus on disputes, complex commercial issues, asset protection and asset recovery.

Since 2012, Vantage has grown from its headquarters in London to New York, Miami and Dubai; Gretchen is leading Vantage’s expansion in the MENAT region and in that capacity is based between Dubai and London and oversees MENAT-focused matters.

Masha, Co-Founder of Vantage, is a recognised expert in the area of intelligence and asset recovery. Masha has extensive experience in research, intelligence gathering, and identifying assets of individual, corporate and sovereign debtors across emerging markets and often in offshore jurisdictions.

She frequently advises litigation funds on enforceability of their potential claims and on pressure strategies to leverage adversaries in settlement negotiations. Prior to co-founding Vantage in 2012, Masha served as a senior advisor to a well-known business intelligence firm in charge of international development. Prior to that role, she served as a media executive in charge of Focus Economic Reports published in The Times and The Washington Post aimed at attracting foreign investments into emerging markets.

In her role she travelled around the world interviewing heads of state, government officials and businessmen. Masha is a frequent speaker at conferences dedicated to asset recovery and dispute resolution and taught a graduate class on business intelligence at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow. She received her joint MBA degree from Columbia Business School and London Business School and her Bachelor of Science from New York University. Masha is fluent in Russian and French.

Eugene, Managing Director of Vantage, previously served as director of a premier international intelligence firm in New York and Geneva. He has played a key role in some of the seminal post-Soviet region legal disputes and asset recovery efforts of the last two decades.

While focused on cross-jurisdictional litigation and judgment enforcement, he has particular expertise in political risk and corruption-based investigations in Eastern European and post-Soviet states, advising clients on navigating complex risks in these regions.

He has also worked extensively throughout Latin America and the francophone regions. A native of Ukraine, he graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Wesleyan University in Connecticut and is fluent in Russian, Ukrainian and French.

Arseny, head of Cyber and Field Operations and based in London, has extensive experience conducting investigations and on the ground operations including surveillance in support of disputes and complex cross-border asset tracing.

Arseny began his career at the Special Branch of London’s Metropolitan Police Service, based at New Scotland Yard. As a former member of the Royal Military Police Special Investigations Branch (Volunteers) and a graduate of the Royal Military Police Close Protection Course, Arseny was deployed twice to Afghanistan and routinely utilises his field operations experience in his work for Vantage.

Arseny has extensive experience in IT and Cyber-Security, with deep knowledge of Software Engineering, Networking, Linux operating systems, Cloud Computing, Cryptography and Digital Forensics. Arseny graduated from Kings College London with a degree in War Studies; he speaks Russian fluently.

Martin, CFO of Vantage, has experience in general management, financial management, M&A, restructuring and dispute resolution.

Prior to joining Vantage, he worked for an oil company as part of a small team undertaking divestments, restructuring and high value multi-jurisdiction litigation in order to protect assets and ultimately return funds to shareholders.

Prior to that, Martin worked for many years in progressively more senior roles in UK-based engineering contracting companies operating internationally; in these roles he became experienced in the management of project-based businesses.

Martin is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

Erik D. Prince is a US-born entrepreneur, philanthropist, Navy SEAL veteran and private equity investor with business interests in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and North America. A strong supporter of economic development in emerging markets, he is the founder and chairman of Frontier Resource Group, a private equity firm that invests in transformative natural resource projects.

Prior to establishing the Frontier Group of companies, Mr. Prince founded and ultimately sold Blackwater USA, a provider of global security, training and logistics solutions to the US Government and others, which he sold in 2010, and Presidential Airways, a global transportation company with over 75 aircraft operating in emerging markets.

He was educated at Hillsdale College in Michigan and upon graduation joined the US Navy, where he served as a Navy SEAL officer until 1996. Mr. Prince's philanthropic endeavors are focused on refugees, humanitarian relief and economic development.

Mr. Prince's career of extensive professional engagements throughout the world give him a unique perspective on developing economic trends, opportunities and risks to consider. He is the host of a new podcast "Off Leash with Erik Prince"

Michael Pochna has had a long and distinguished career in venture capital, finance, and asset management.  Mr. Pochna attended Le Rosey and Deerfield Academy, and since graduating from Harvard in 1960, he has founded many diverse enterprises and served on numerous boards both as an advisor and as an active part of management.   During this time, Mr. Pochna was a partner at Lansdowne Limited in Paris, Asian Oceanic Group in Hong Kong, and Dexter Capital in New York.

In 1970, Mr. Pochna founded Societe Viticole Europeenne (“SVE”) in Bordeaux, to acquire vineyards in France, Italy, and Spain.  At the time it was sold to management in 1985, was one of the largest owners of fine wine properties in Europe including Castelgiocondo, a Brunello di Montalcino, Chateau Mauvesin, a Medoc, and Chateau Mauras, a Sauternes.

Between 1975 and 1980, Mr. Pochna and Sheikh Salem Binladen founded Binladen Telecommunications (“BTC”).  As the representatives of Bell Canada International (“BCI”) and Nortel, BTC won for BCI the contract to manage Sauditel for a period of 10 years.  Mr. Pochna’s activities were described in “The Binladens” by Steve Coll.

In 1985, Mr. Pochna and a group of investors took control of Diversified Industries, a NYSE listed manufacturer.  Mr. Pochna served on the Board and as President of Diversified Industries International.  Diversified was restructured and taken private by the group resulting in the creation of United Recycling Industries, which was sold in 2007 to the Sims Group.

In the property field, Mr. Pochna formed and managed several real estate partnerships in Tudor City, New York from 1990 to 2000.

Throughout his career, Mr. Pochna has developed projects in the area of culture, arts and entertainment.  In 1980 he became President of MSquare International and developed several properties in New York including the Orpheum Theater and the Minetta Lane Theater.  He has produced various films including ‘Key Exchange’ for Fox and ‘Le Complot’ for Columbia.  Mr. Pochna is also active in classical music, and has produced many concerts and events as well as recordings for the Naxos label, one of which was nominated for a Grammy.  Mr. Pochna is a member of the Recording Academy.

For the past ten years Mr. Pochna has concentrated on asset management and financial services through Dexter Capital Limited of which he is Managing Director.  Dexter Capital  has past and ongoing advisory relationships with Guggenheim Partners, The Carlyle Group, Partners Group, The Argent Group, Omega Advisors, BSI/Ifabanque, AES Corporation and others.  Mr. Pochna is also a Senior Advisor to Vantage Intelligence UK Limited LLC.

Aron Shaviv is an international political strategist who has advised some of the top political leaders in the U.S., Central America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

To date, Aron has helped 17 heads of State win elections, and his clients include Presidents and Prime Ministers of Israel, Thailand, Cambodia, Romania, Congo, Ghana, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Serbia, Slovakia and the European Commission, and has consulted other parties and clients in over 50 elections worldwide. Most notably, Aron has been widely credited for engineering Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's surprise landslide victory in 2015.
